Недељко Неђо Шиповац was a Serbian writer, novelist, essayist, literary critic, and poet born in Mostar on March 12, 1938. He became a member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of the Republic of Srpska. He should not be confused with the politician Nedeljko Šipovac, who was the president of the Provincial Committee of the League of Communists of Vojvodina after the fall of the autonomist leadership in 1988. He passed away in Belgrade on November 20, 2010.
