Telman Qarabağlı (1931-1999) was an Armenian lawyer, philologist, and writer known for his contributions to Azerbaijani children's literature. A member of the USSR Writers' Union since 1962, he was honored as an 'Honored Culture Worker of the Azerbaijan SSR' in 1989. After working as a prosecutor, he shifted to a literary career, publishing over 25 books, many focused on children's themes. He also held key positions in Azerbaijani television. Later in life, he advocated for peace between Armenian and Azerbaijani people before passing away in Moscow.
