Βαγγέλης Σεβδίνογλου was a Greek basketball player and coach, born in Nice on January 14, 1933. He began his basketball career in 1951 with Piraeus and later joined AEK in 1954, winning the team's first championship in 1958. After retiring in 1961, he transitioned to coaching, working with several teams including Piraeus and Olympiacos. He returned to AEK for youth coaching before becoming head coach at Olympiacos in 1973. He was also a founding member of the Greek Coaches Association (SEPK) and passed away on May 12, 2009, due to a head injury.
