சி. சோமிதரன் is a Sri Lankan journalist and documentary filmmaker, born on May 13, 1981, in Paruthithurai, Jaffna. He began his media career at Sri Lanka Radio and later worked as an assistant editor at Thinakkural in Jaffna and contributed to Northeast Herald. He has directed three documentaries related to the Sri Lankan ethnic conflict and produced various documentaries focusing on environmental issues and human rights. He studied visual communication and film studies at Loyola College, Chennai, and currently resides in Chennai.
