Mkrtich Aslanyan (1906-1986) was an Armenian writer and journalist, born in the Bulankh region of Turkey. He became a member of the Union of Soviet Writers in 1934 and was also a member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1931. Aslanyan contributed significantly to literature and journalism in his time.
