Vachik Aleksani Azizyan was an Armenian aparatavar born on May 2, 1932, in Vardenis, Armenia SSR, USSR. He earned the title of Full Knight of the Badge of Labor Glory and was recognized as an Honored Chemist of the USSR in 1976. Azizyan served as a member of the Supreme Council of the Armenian SSR from 1980 to 1985, received the Honored Master-Educator award in 1983, and was a laureate of the State Prize of the Armenian SSR in 1985. He passed away on December 12, 2006, in Yerevan, Armenia.
