Vigen Karapeti Zakaryan was an Armenian soldier and a participant in the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. Born on March 15, 1969, in Beirut, he was a member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation party. He lost his life on May 8, 1992, during an operation to seize Shusha, when he was killed in clashes with the Azerbaijani Armed Forces. Zakaryan is one of the Lebanese Armenians who died in this conflict.
