Taras Gevorki Tusuzian was a Soviet Armenian major general born on February 22, 1909, in Krasnodar, Russian Empire. He completed advanced command courses for the Soviet Army in 1946 and served in various military roles during World War II, including as a supply director. From 1952 to 1969, he was the military commander of the Armenian SSR. He was awarded the Lenin Order, the Order of the Red Banner, and two Orders of the Red Star for his service. He passed away on May 2, 1982.
