He was born in the village of Piatrovičy in the Minsk Governorate during the Russian Empire, which is now part of the Smalyavichy District in the Minsk Region of Belarus. He passed away on August 16, 1990, in Minsk, Belarusian SSR. Semyazón was awarded the State Prize of the BSSR in 1982 for his work in translation.
