Baidylda Sarnogoev (1932–2004) was a prominent Kyrgyz poet born in Budennovka village. He graduated from a secondary school in Frunze in 1951 and completed his studies at the M. Gorky Literary Institute in Moscow in 1956. Sarnogoev worked as the head of a department at Ala-Too magazine and served as a literary consultant for the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan from 1959 to 1973. His first poetry collection, 'Shumkar', was published in 1952. He received numerous awards for his contributions to literature, including the prestigious Toktogul State Prize in 2000.
