Mahmut Minakhmetovich Gazizov was a Tatar poet and teacher, born on February 8, 1940, in the village of Tukhtar Urdalasy, Tatarstan. He completed his education at Kazan Pedagogical Institute (1958-1963). Gazizov taught history and social studies in schools and worked in various roles in Chally. He published his first poetry in school newspapers and released multiple collections, including 'Milash Sirtma' and 'Ber, ike, uch.' His poems were translated into Russian and published in literary magazines. He passed away on September 14, 2013.
