Shamun Fidai (real name Qasim Mukhametyanovich Shakiryanov) was a Bashkir revolutionary poet born on June 15, 1902, in Orenburg. He actively participated in literary circles and published revolutionary poetry in various communist newspapers. Fidai worked as an editor for several youth publications and was involved in the political department of the Red Army. He was selected as a delegate to the III All-Russian Comsomol Congress but was murdered before he could attend, in June 1920. His literary legacy includes works published in publications such as 'Alga' and 'Kyzyl Yau'.
