Zarap Petrosovich Zarapetyan was a Soviet builder born on February 25, 1914, and he passed away on April 26, 1998. He was an expert in mineral raw material extraction and processing as well as production organization. He was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labour in 1970, became an Honored Builder of the RSFSR in 1984, and received honorary builder status in the Uzbek SSR in 1968.
