Матре́на Плато́новна Смирно́ва (21 ноября 1913 – 29 ноября 1981) была русской поэтессой, родившейся в селе Русский Ишим, Пензенская губерния. Она стала членом Союза писателей СССР в 1964 году и оставила значительное наследие в русской поэзии. Умерла в том же селе, где родилась.
