Vasiliy Fedotovich Savchenko (April 13, 1909 – November 26, 1982) was a participant in the Great Patriotic War and a full cavalier of the Order of Glory. He served as a sergeant and commanded a gun battery in the 945th Artillery Regiment of the 380th Ordzhonikidze Red Banner Division. He fought as part of the 49th Army on the 2nd Belorussian Front. Savchenko was born in Popovka, Poltava Governorate, in the Russian Empire, and passed away in Sidorovka, Altai Krai, Russia.
