Xie Zhaoqi (May 15, 1905 – September 1, 1995) was a general in the Republic of China. He served as the fifth president of the Whampoa Military Academy (the Nationalist Army's military academy) and was among its sixth graduating class. After the Northern Expedition, he studied in the UK in 1930, graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1934. He was one of the few generals under Chiang Kai-shek trained extensively in Western military tactics and trained the first batch of armored troops in Nanjing before the Second Sino-Japanese War.
