Mohammad Rahimian, born in 1952 in Shahreza, is a civil engineer and professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tehran. He served as the Vice President for Research at the University of Tehran from 2015 to 2021. He previously held the positions of president and research vice president at the university. After obtaining his master's degree in civil engineering from the University of Tehran, he went to France, where he earned both a DEA and a doctorate in civil engineering with a focus on building mechanics.
