Blagoje Košanin was a Serbian composer and lyricist known for his contributions to folk melodies. Born on January 8, 1940, in Gazivode, Zubin Potok, he served as the director of Radio Television Priština. He was recognized as an honorary citizen of the Municipality of Zubin Potok and dedicated his life to preserving Serbian musical heritage from Kosovo and Metohija and other former Yugoslav republics. He passed away on November 24, 2013.
