Jeong Doo-ri (born October 2, 1947) is a South Korean poet and children's literature author. She was born in Masan, Gyeongsangnam-do, and earned a bachelor's degree in Korean literature from Dankook University and a master's degree in journalism and broadcasting from Chung-Ang University. She debuted in 1982 with the poem 'Knitting' published in 'Korean Literature' and won the East Asia Daily New Year's Poetry Contest in the same year. She has received several awards for her literary contributions over the years.
