Yahya Saleh Al-Aroumeh is a Yemeni poet and military figure born in 1950 in Sana'a. He received his education in his hometown and enlisted in the National Guard after the 26 September Revolution in 1962. He trained with Jordanian military experts and attended the Military Sciences College in Ukraine. Al-Aroumeh is renowned for both his military accolades, including several military awards, and his recognition as a lyric poet, contributing to artistic events both within Yemen and abroad.
