Abdul Bari Abdullah Dagheesh is a Yemeni parliamentarian and member of the House of Representatives, serving the electoral district No. 28 in Aden for the parliamentary term from 2003 to 2009 as part of the independent parliamentary bloc. His term was extended as part of the Gulf Initiative until 2013. Notably, he attended the historic extraordinary session of the parliament on August 13, 2016, amid threats of bombing, where he delivered a significant speech referencing the Prophet’s teachings and appealed for a positive stance from the Gulf states regarding the situation in Yemen.
