C. A. Muguilan (C. A. Mugilān, March 5, 1933 - May 12, 1980) was an Indian film director and screenwriter in the Tamil film industry. Born C. A. Perumal, he was the seventh son of Ayyavu Chettiyar and Vallathammal in Chinna Kalappet, Puducherry. He contributed stories to films like Karpagam and served as an assistant director. Muguilan wrote and directed the film Oru Mutham, released in 1980, collaborating with notable artists including A. V. M, Ilaiyaraaja, and Kannadasan.
