Dionysius, born Panayotis Psiakas, was a notable bishop of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. He served as the Metropolitan of Proussa from 2003 until his passing in 2008. Previously, he was the Metropolitan of New Zealand from 1970 to 2003, and he held the title of hypertimus and exarch of Oceania. His leadership contributions greatly influenced the Orthodox Church in these regions.
