米晓东 (born May 1970) is a Chinese businessman who grew up in Zhanjiang, Guangdong. He graduated from Southwest Petroleum University and was a classmate of Zhou Bin, the son of Zhou Yongkang. His father worked for PetroChina in Xinjiang. After graduating, Mi worked for CNOOC and later partnered with Zhou Bin in business ventures in Beijing around 2006. He was significantly involved in the largest corruption case in PetroChina's history, focusing on business related to offshore oil and land oilfield transactions.
