Blazo Joka Orlandic was a Yugoslav communist partisan and national hero of Yugoslavia. Born in 1914 in Gorno Seoce near Bar, he joined the Communist Party of Yugoslavia in 1932 and became an active political figure in Skopje. Orlandic faced multiple arrests due to his opposition to the political status quo and played a significant role in preparing an armed uprising in 1941. He was ultimately captured and killed by German soldiers and Chetniks in March 1943. He was posthumously declared a National Hero of Yugoslavia in 1949.
