Torgom Torosi Khachatryan (August 23, 1908 - 1980) was an Armenian Soviet mechanic and a notable academic. He was a Doctor of Technical Sciences and became a professor in 1948. Graduating from the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1932, he later headed the Department of Theoretical Mechanics. His contributions were significant in the field of mechanics, particularly in the analysis of elastic curved beams, plates, and membrane stability. He also served as the vice-rector for scientific and educational affairs at the Yerevan Polytechnic Institute from 1954 to 1959.
