Henrikh Shahani Amirjanyan (1961-1992) was an Armenian freedom fighter born in Karin Tak, Shushi Province. He graduated from the local school and attended a technical school in Sisian. After military service in the USSR Armed Forces, he worked in construction and at local factories. Amirjanyan actively participated in self-defense efforts during the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, notably in battles from December 1991 to January 1992, where he fought heroically. He was awarded the Order of the Combat Cross posthumously for his bravery.
