Martik Arushanyan was an Armenian freedom fighter born on December 1, 1972, in the village of Araja dzor in the Martakert region. He was a participant in the Artsakh Liberation War, a conflict for the independence of the Armenian enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh, and tragically lost his life on January 25, 1993.
