Jemma Mnatsakanyan Kaghatsirkian is an Armenian singer born on May 17, 1950, in Leninakan, Armenian SSR, USSR. She studied at the local secondary school and music college, later pursuing her education in choral conducting at Yerevan State Conservatory. She worked as a music teacher and choir conductor while teaching at various educational institutions. Kaghatsirkian was later affiliated with the State Orchestra of Folk Instruments and became the artistic director. In 2013, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Armenia.
