Rubén Hovsepian Karayev (January 16, 1908, Tiflis, Russian Empire) was an Armenian Soviet electrical engineer. He achieved the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in 1959 and became a professor in 1961. Karayev contributed significantly to the field of electrical engineering and is recognized for his academic achievements.
