August Nõmmik (October 5, 1903 – July 19, 1996) was an Estonian military officer who served as a captain. He graduated from the Higher Military School in 1934 and last served at the Tartu military district staff. He was captured by the Red Army, managed to escape by pretending to be a German, and later lived in Argentina and Canada. From 1982 to 1985, he was the managing editor of the newspaper Võitleja.
