Aygul Narimanqyzy Ulkenbaeva (born January 23, 1962) is a prominent kuyshi-dombyrashi and Honored Artist of Kazakhstan since 1998. She graduated from Almaty Music College in 1981 and from Almaty State Conservatory in 1986. Ulkenbaeva has performed with the Kazakh Academic Folk Instruments Orchestra and has established a significant solo career, showcasing a repertoire of traditional Kazakh compositions and modern works. She has been teaching at the Kazakh National Conservatory since 1993 and has released several albums highlighting her musical contributions.
