She obtained her medical degree from Almaty State Medical Institute in 1969, followed by postgraduate studies in 1972. A Doctor of Medical Sciences since 1990 and a professor since 1996, she served as a junior and senior researcher at the Surgery Scientific Center from 1975 to 1991. Since 1991, she has headed a laboratory and is the author of 70 scientific publications and 3 inventions.
