She gained recognition as a laureate in several prestigious singing competitions, including the Shamsy Kaldyaiakov International Vocal Competition in 1996 and the Bernd Weikl International Competition in 2002. She studied in the vocal choir studio at the Almaty Opera and Ballet Theater and worked as a choir artist there from 1985 to 1993. Since 2001, she has been performing as a singer at the Abai Kazakh National Opera and Ballet Theater in Almaty.
