Matvey Prokopyevich Podimakhin (November 2, 1917 – February 17, 1993) was a commander of a squadron in the 2nd brigade of torpedo boats at the Novorossiysk naval base of the Black Sea Fleet. He held the rank of Captain 1st class and was recognized as a Hero of the Soviet Union for his valor and service during the war.
