Vasyl Platонович Skopych (b. 1947 in Makaryivka) is a Ukrainian artist recognized for his contributions to folk art. He was a laureate of various All-Union exhibitions of amateur art between 1975 and 1980. In 1986, he earned the title of Honored Master of Folk Art of Ukraine and, in 1991, he received the K. Bilokur Prize. He is also a member of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art. His work highlights traditional Ukrainian craft and artistry.
