Arkady Alexandrovich Smirnov (April 8, 1909 — November 18, 1959) was a Soviet military leader and a Hero of the Soviet Union. He commanded the 15th Guards Red Banner Cavalry Regiment within the 4th Guards Cavalry Division of the 2nd Guards Cavalry Corps on the 1st Belorussian Front. His distinguished military service earned him high honors during and after his career.
