Mitko Ilievski (Blatec, Macedonia, May 17, 1924 - April 24, 1993) was one of the pioneers of adopted Macedonian philosophy. He graduated in philosophy from the Faculty of Philosophy in Skopje. Initially, he worked as an assistant and later as a professor teaching several significant philosophical disciplines at the same faculty. His primary focus was on logic, particularly the problem of definition, which became the topic of his doctoral dissertation in 1963.
