Liu Mingfu (November 12, 1915 – December 4, 1996), also known as Yi Xiang, was a Chinese politician from Ningxiang, Hunan. He graduated from Fudan University in 1937 and served in various political roles including deputy director of the Political Economy Research Office at Yan'an Marxism-Leninism Institute, and later in northeastern China as deputy mayor of Harbin. He held important positions in the State Planning Commission and led the Institute of Finance and Trade Economics at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, authoring works on China's economy during wartime.
