Nina Iosifovna Savonenko (April 12, 1921 - February 1996) was a pediatric phthisiatrician who began her work in Gatchina hospitals after 1944. She served as the head of the children's department from 1953 and as the deputy chief physician from 1957 to 1960. From 1976 to 1980, she worked at the Leningrad tuberculosis dispensary. Savonenko was recognized as an exemplary physician in the USSR for reducing tuberculosis among children and was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1969.
