Vasily Alexandrovich Chesnokov (December 28, 1914 – May 19, 1956) was a Soviet military commander who served as the commander of a mortar squad in the 598th Rifle Regiment. He was a senior sergeant at the time of his nomination for the Order of Glory, 1st Class. Chesnokov was active during World War II and is commemorated for his service.
