Dmitry Grigoryevich Chubar (February 12, 1906 – May 20, 1974) was a Soviet military officer who served as the Deputy Commander for Political Affairs of a motorized infantry battalion. He held the rank of Major and was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union for his bravery and service during World War II. Born in Berdyansk, he dedicated his life to his military career until his passing in the same city.
