Alexander Ivanovich Dryabezgov (August 6, 1919 – October 30, 2016) was a Soviet and Russian checkers player and local historian. He was the oldest checkers player in Russia and a prominent figure in Moscow's local history. He became a Master of Sports of the USSR in 1963 and an FMJD Master in 2007. He participated in World War II and later led the USSR Checkers Federation in the early 1950s. After retiring in 1987, he continued to compete internationally in veterans' championships until 2012.
