Vasily Fyodorovich Markokin (September 1, 1938 - October 29, 2010) was a Belarusian statesman and Major General. He served as the head of the Main Department of Border Troops of the Republic of Belarus from 1994 to 1996. Born in a small village in the Stalingrad region of the RSFSR, he later passed away in Minsk. His contributions to the country's military and border security are noteworthy.
