Yan Zhongchuan (February 1922 - June 22, 2002) was a senior military general in the People's Liberation Army of China. He was also an alternate member of the Ninth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. Yan was born in Dingxing County, Baoding, Hebei Province, and had a significant impact on the military structure within China during his career.
