Sarita Mangesh Patki (born December 13, 1928 - January 3, 2015) was a Marathi writer known for her plays, stories, and poetry. She translated six books and wrote for children's literature. Born in Agashi, Maharashtra, she excelled academically, securing a first in her M.A. in Sanskrit. Besides her literary contributions, she served as a teacher at various colleges. Patki was recognized with multiple awards by government institutions and was active in promoting Marathi literature, particularly for children, until her passing in America at the age of 86.
