Dmitry Maksimovich Muravyov was a Soviet engineer and builder born on January 26, 1912, in Saint Petersburg. He was one of the leaders in the construction of the Norilsk Combine and the city of Norilsk. Muravyov was honored as a distinguished builder of the RSFSR in 1963. He passed away on February 28, 1987, in Leningrad.
