Semyon Pavlovich Nikitin (1921—1968) was a Soviet railway transport worker and lathe operator, honored as a Hero of Socialist Labor. Born in Tetyushsky Canton of Tatar ASSR, he graduated from the Kanash Railroad School and worked at the Kanash repair plant throughout his life. A prolific innovator, he proposed around 200 improvements for railway car repairs, achieving significant economic benefits. Tragically, he died in a workplace accident in Kanash. Nikitin was married and had four daughters and a son. He received the Lenin Order and was named a distinguished citizen of Kanash.
