Zinoviy Yuryevich Binkin (also known as Zelman Yudovich Grinman) was a Soviet trumpeter, composer, and conductor born on March 31, 1913, in Yuzovka, and passed away on November 22, 1985, in Moscow. He was an artist of the Donetsk Radio Symphony Orchestra, a soloist with the USSR NKA Orchestra, and was honored as a Distinguished Artist of Arts of the RSFSR in 1976. Binkin composed music for wind orchestra, concert pieces for trumpet, clarinet, horn, saxophone, and light orchestra, as well as over 100 songs. He became a member of the Union of Composers of the USSR in 1958.
