Salman Ahmad Al-Haiki (January 2, 1959 - May 19, 2019) was a Bahraini teacher, journalist, and poet born in Muharraq. He graduated from the Teachers Institute in 1981 and was a member of the Bahraini Writers and Authors Society since the early 1970s. He began his poetic endeavors in 1973 and published his first poem in Al-Adaab Bahrain newspaper. In addition to poetry, he wrote articles, critiques, and short stories. At the time of his passing, he was a journalist for Akhbar Al-Khaleej newspaper.
